Synopsis
The character of the novel is Lecturer Sudha Joshi, a professor at Ratanbai College. She is married to Professor Sharad, and the couple has two daughters, Akansha and Anushka. A breach develops in the family when Sharad develops feelings for another Professor Chitra with whom he shares a daughter named Chingi.
