Ittefaq (2017)

Vikram is an acclaimed writer who finds his wife dead in the hotel room and informs the police. When the cops arrive Vikram dodges them and runs. He then narrowly escapes and takes shelter in an apartment. The cops later see a young woman ask for help and when they go to the apartment, they are shocked to find Vikram there next to the body of the woman’s husband, who was a well-known lawyer. He claims to have not killed him and gives his version of the story, while the woman gives a completely contradicting story. Cops are now confused and arrest Vikram and question the woman. Later it is revealed that Vikram was the one who killed his wife as well as the lawyer to get his way. The movie is directed by Abhay Chopra and produced by Karan Johar, Gauri Khan, Hiroo Yash Johar and Renu Ravi Chopra. The music is composed by Amaal Mallik and the film’s story is written by Abhay Chopra, Shreyas Jain and Nikhil Mehrotra. The cinematography is by Michal Luka. The star cast includes Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna, Sonakshi Sinha, Sushant Singh, Mir Sarwar, Gireesh Sahedev, Shankar Yadav and Parul Guilati.
