Varun Badola

Varun Badola started his career as a costume coordinator. He also worked as a writer and director for eight years. He assisted Tigmanshu Dhulia for the films Haasil and Charas. Apart from directing the two of the film, Varun had decided to take a break from directing and concentrate on acting as he was offered a role in the television serial Astitva. Ek Prem Kahani. He had a successful stint in acting in the television industry. Some of his most successful soaps were Banegi Apni Baat, Koshish- Ek Asha, Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand by actress Aruna Irani. Varun shot to fame with his role of a mentally disabled person in the show Koshish by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. The film went on to be a super-hit on Zee TV. Varun Badola also has directed and written the script for the show Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein.

He is also an accomplished singer and dancer having shown his talents on reality television. He was a part of the celebrity dance show named Nach Baliye 2 with his wife Rajeshwari and the couple were the semifinalists.

Varun is known to be extremely hard-working actor and is called the Aamir Khan for his dedication of the television film industry. He is also compared to veteran actor late Dev Anand for his intense on-screen romance.

After six long years of hiatus, Varun Badola has also played the role of Suhas Divakar in SAB TV and as Siddhanth in the television serial, Itni Si Khushi.

Varun Badola and wife Rajeshwari have worked together in a play for the first time in Shabd Leela which was based on Dr Dharmveer Bharati’s powerful love letters to his wife. Varun also has participated in Celebrity Cricket League as a member of the Mumbai Heroes and is known to be an all-rounder.

Varun Badola was last seen in the blockbuster Saiyaara in 2025 and War 2 with Hrithik Roshan. He also acted in the 2023 Akshay Kumar’s 2023.
